The GE NanoVue UV/Visible Spectrophotometer is a compact powerful instrument, that’s reliable and rugged. Sample sizes of 0.5 µl to 2 µl can be pipetted directly onto the unique hydrophobic read plate, no need for a cuvette. Once reads are completed the sample may be recovered with a pipette or if the sample is no longer required, simply wiped away.
Up to 90 user methods can be stored, and optional password protections may be used with the GE NanoVue UV/Vis Spectrophotometer to maintain accuracy. A easy to read graphical display allows user friendly access to calculations and analyses, which may be exported in a variety of formats and transferred through a standard USB port to bring to a personal workstation or printed via computer software. The USB port can be used for either communication with a PC or wireless Bluetooth devices.
The GE NanoVue is a full spectrum UV/Visible Spectrophotometer at 200-1100 nm with an accuracy of ±2 nm across range, ±1 nm from 240nm to 330nm. This UV/Vis spectrophotometer’s light source is a pulsed xenon lamp with a photometric accuracy of ±1% at 257nm at 0.7-0.8A. Calibration is handled with an internal protocol, and can be done in the lab, no need to send it out.
The GE NanoVue UV/Visible Spectrophotometer comes pre-programmed with 94 methods for determination of oligonucleotide concentrations and purity, determination of RNA and DNA as well as detecting impurities through wavelength scanning. The GE NanoVue UV/Visible Spectrophotometer has the ability to run up to 27 standards when quantifying proteins by BCA, Bradford, Direct UV, Lowry, and Biuret. This spectrophotometer gives you your choice of units when displaying concentration measurements, µg/ml, ng/µl, ?g/µl, pmol/µl, and pmol.
