The Applied Biosystems 7500 Real-Time PCR Systems is a versatile, and powerful system, with an innovative optical system that gives you access to a broader range of fluorophores, including a greater sensitivity to red dyes. This 5-color thermal cycler accommodates the widest range of dyes out there, from FAM/SYBR to CY5 dyes, that does not require new filter sets when changing from one dye to another. This PCR system is simple to calibrate and easy to use and features a multi componenting algorithm that minimizes spectral cross talk and provides excellent multiplexing data you can count on. This qPCR is Peltier based, with a temperature range of 4-100°C, and a peak block ramp rate of 2.5°C⁄sec.


The Applied Biosystems 7500 Real-Time PCR Systems is powered by intuitive software, complete with plate set up wizards, multi-plate data viewing, and analysis tools that present data in a straightforward and simple format. Applications supported by this Real time PCR include gene expression analysis, pathogen quantitation, SNP genotyping as well as isothermal and plus minus assays. This PCR system is also convenient thanks to preformed, ready to use TaqMan assays that help reduce time spent optimizing. The ABI 7500 Real Time PCR has a standard throughput rate of 4-5 plates in an 8 hr day but can also be upgraded to a FAST system with a separately purchased upgrade kit.
