- EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
The Chart MVE 1400 Series Liquid Nitrogen Dewar with TEC 3000 Controller has one of the largest holding capacities on the market, with precise microprocessor control and monitoring for your most precious samples. The low-profile design of this cryogenic storage system means less lift over height for more ergonomic use while it’s wide neck opening makes for easy access to samples. This cryogenic storage system is paired with the TEC 3000, a fully automated LN2 level control system that uses differential pressure to determine the liquid nitrogen levels with outstanding accuracy and resolution. Liquid nitrogen levels are user defined and are electronically adjustable through the whole range. From the Tec 3000 Controller, users can set series of alarms and alerts, such as low-level alarm, low level fill point, high level fill point and high-level alarm on this Dewar. The TEC 3000 controller will also store up to 10 years of time stamped temperature data in nonvolatile memory, and up to 10 user defined passwords with 4 security levels to prevent accidental tampering. Lastly the TEC 3000 Controller can be used to communicate with other controllers, other RS-485 networks and devices, or a remote PC.
The Chart MVE 1400 Series Liquid Nitrogen Dewar with TEC 3000 is high capacity holding up to 388L of LN2, up to 26650 2mL vials. This cryostorage container has rugged construction, including a metal lid with durable long-lasting hinges, as well as annular fill lines to reduce frost and ice formation and an innovative control system that uses a hot gas bypass to automatically vent out warm nitrogen gas from the supply line before reaching the chamber so no freezer space is wasted. The bypass feature of this Liquid Nitrogen Dewar controller also helps to maintain temperature stability, and retention as well as efficient filling.
