This VWR 3000 is a Portable Balance that's no-fuss and ideal for light industrial use, fieldwork, or just moving around the lab. The large backlit display is easy to read and has a resolution of up to 0.1g. The simple to use controls have four dedicated keys for power, calibration, unit switching, and tare. Users of this lab balance can swap between 5 weigh modes: grams, dwt, oz, lbs, and ozT, each indicated on the screen. This lab-scale also features overload protection to help protect components and it has a capacity of 3000g total. This lab balance also has a clear acrylic weigh bowl This lightweight lab balance uses 6 AA batteries or can be plugged in for everyday use. The automatic shut off helps to preserve battery life, while a low battery indicator warns users to plug in so weighing is not interrupted.
