The Savant SpeedVac DNA 130 is an Integrated Vacuum Concentrator System for rapid concentration of DNA and RNA applications. The compact easy to use design save valuable bench space, taking up only an 12 x 25 inch foot print. Users can select their desired temperature between 35 to 65°C, in 5° steps, while also selecting their run time and heat time, each up to 9 hours and 59 minutes. To save time, users can program up to three protocols for quick access of their most used settings. Once a run is complete users will be alerted with an audible alarm.


The interior of this Savant Dna Speedvac is coated in PTFE, and is corrosion resistant, holding a 36 spot fixed angle rotor that holds 1.5-2.0 ml tubes. The latched lid has a lid lock indicator, and a stay open mechanism to hold it open while loading and unloading.  The built in, virtually maintenance free, oil free vacuum pump gently transitions from atmosphere to the ultimate vacuum while avoiding solvent bumping, protecting samples. To further protect samples this system can also dry at ambient temperatures, or can be used with a low heat to prevent samples from denaturing. The DNA130-115 can be used with Water, PCR buffers, ethanol and water, or with the addition of a post trap ANT-100, (sold separately) ammonium hydroxide.
