Shel Lab Reach-In Incubator SMI31

The Shel Lab Reach-in Incubator SMI31 is a large capacity upright incubator built to provide over 30 cu. ft. capacity and minimize the lab footprint. The generous interior has a specially reinforced floor to support a roller apparatus, or shakers, and shelving that can support other benchtop instruments. Power is supplied through 4 electrical outlets spaced out along the sidewall, at the top of the stainless interior is an access port and a temperature probe. To monitor sample progress, users can view items through the tempered glass viewing window incorporated into the door.

Programming this Shel Lab reach-in incubator SMI31 can be done through the digital control panel set above the door. Users can set their temperature within the range of Ambient +8 to 70ºC, at a resolution of 0.1°C. The forced air circulation of the chamber keeps uniformity of +/-0.8°C at 37°C throughout and helps to recover quickly after opening. To protect samples the unit has an independent secondary temperature controller to prevent thermal runaway.
