The Thermo Evolution 60S provides efficient, reliable and precise spectrophotometry in a compact and robust instrument. This UV-Vis Spectrophotometer has minimal optical surfaces and out of plane monochromator, resulting in a higher energy and higher resolution on demanding samples, with a spectral bandwidth of 1.0 nm. This compact spectrophotometer has stray light and noise specifications on par with instruments three times its size. The instant-on Xenon Lamp of the Evolution 60S has a wavelength range of 190-1100 nm, with intense light in the UV spectrum, and excellent temperature stability, this lamp will provide years of long-lasting performance. The Thermo Evolution 60s also features enhanced scanning technology that quickly collects high quality data at speeds over 4,200 nm/minute.
The Thermo Evolution 60S Spectrophotometer comes with robust embedded software or can be operated with a controlling PC.The onboard software is simple to use, and can be controlled easily from the membrane keypad with most routines accessible with just a few keystrokes. This spectrophotometer can be set up with custom methods, saved on the device or exported to a USB for implementation elsewhere. The USB connection can also be used for a printer and computer connection. The onboard software also includes preprogrammed methods such as fast wavelength scanning, nucleic acid and protein concentration assays, up to 15 standard and 5 calibration fit quantitative analysis, absorbance ratio or difference measurements, and performance verifications for GLP/GMP and regulatory compliance. For even more flexilibty users of this UV-Vis Spectrophotometer can choose to work with the VISIONlite control software for scanning, fixed wavelength analysis, quantitative analysis and multi-cell kinetics. The VISIONlite software for the Evolution 60S also allows users to set up to 40 user profiles, ideal for audit trials.
