The Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis System offers speedy electrophoresis in as little as 10 minutes, that you can watch in real-time. This all-in-one benchtop system is ideal for DNA sample loading, gel imaging, and lets you simplify your workflow. The E-Gel makes use of precast agarose gels with corresponding pre-programmed protocols, drastically cutting run time. Navigation is simple, thanks to the full color touchscreen. The on-board software combine with the touchscreen allows you to capture and process images on the spot. Images capture by the E-Gel Power Snap can be stored directly on the device or transferred to a USB key. This electrophoresis system uses a blue light transilluminator at 465 nm, and an amber filter that is not only safer for the user but gives better results when cloning vs ethidium bromide/UV.
