The Thermo Scientific Pierce Power Station is a robust package, built to handle fast Coomassie dye staining and rapid semi-dry transfers. This power system is configured for staining and incorporates an easy to use the touch screen with an integrated power supply for unified control and consistent, efficient protein staining. Protein stains in this PowerStation can take as little as 6-11 minutes instead of overnight when partnered with the Pierce midi and mini gel power staining kits. Users can even stain and destain 2 minigels/1midi gel or transfer 4 mini gels/2 midi gels. The dye passes through the polyacrylamide and ionically binds to the protein for well defined blue bands, and the remaining dye is pulled through eliminating the need for destaining.

The Thermo Scientific Pierce Power Station features easy touch programming on a brightly lit, graphic display, with preprogrammed methods, or custom settings that can be saved for future use.  This electrophoresis station is ideal for gel staining, unbound stain removal, and is equipped with the Pierce Power Stain Cassette but is upgrade ready, with the addition of the Power Blot Cassette, available from Thermo Scientific.
