Vi-Cell XR Cell Viability Analyzer - Beckman Coulter

The Vi-Cell XR is a Cell Viability Analyzer from Beckman Coulter that’s accurate and reproducible through automation of the trypan blue dye exclusion method. Up to 10 samples may be loaded into the system at once and can be customized to make sure cell counts are consistent and correct. Assays that look at bulk fluorescence or absorbance like traditional colourimetric assays don’t always catch when nanoparticles overlap optically. The Vi-Cell XR however can distinguish between cell and nanoparticle aggregate and provide a trusted result.  Optimal conditions in bioreactors are essential, and the cell viability data collected by the Beckman Coulter Vi-Cell XR cell counter helps the decision making on cell passages. The Beckman Coulter Vi-Cell XR Cell Counter uses a smart technology with automated cell staining and quantitation. Custom applications may be used on simple systems like CHO cells or more complex cells like yeast. Incorporated into the Vi-Cell software is a cell function, and the means configure the cell counter for many different cell species, which can also further analyze cell parameters such as clumping, cell size, brightness, singularity as well as the percentage of viability and concentration. Cellular images in this cell viability analyzer can be monitored in real-time providing additional information not available using standard cell aperture counting. All available graphs are easily found and selectable within a drop-down menu. 

The Vi-Cell XR Cell Viability Analyzer also allows your lab to meet 21 CFR part 11 compliance, with electronic records and signatures. An optional setting within the software activates this capability, and automatically allows the user to configure the system.
