The Labconco FreeZone 2.5 Liter Benchtop Freeze Dry System has a compact footprint, allowing it to fit into tight spaces near your workstation. Collection temperatures on this lyophilizer can get as low as -84°C (-119°F) through the two CFC-free, 1/3 horsepower refrigeration systems. The upright stainless-steel collector coils on top remove a maximum of 2 liters of water within 24 hours and can hold up to 2.5 liters of ice before defrosting.

The Labconco FreeZone 2.5 Liter Benchtop Freeze Dry System is controlled through an LCD screen for quick setup and adjusting the operating parameters and total hours since the vacuum or refrigeration was last serviced. The alarms for this benchtop freeze dry system alert users with audible and visual alarms and can be set for events like power failure, collector temperature over -40°C, servicing the vacuum pump, and others. This lyophilizer is constructed out of powder-coated and brushed stainless steel and comes with a patented moisture sensor, RS-232 port, and a one-button automatic refrigeration and vacuum start-up with manual overrides.
