The MaxQ 5000 from Thermo Scientific is a floor model incubator shaker that both heats and cools, giving you a convenient, flexible, and consistent large capacity instrument. This shaking incubator can accommodate six 4L flasks, four 6L flasks, or six 2800mL Fernbach flasks, and features hands-free operation with a foot pedal. This floor model shaker features a triple eccentric drive for smooth operation even with heavy loads, up to 34Kg, and can be operated continuously, or in timed functions up to 999 hours. This floor model shaker has a variable speed control that ranges between 15-500rpm with a soft start to prevent splashing. Users can set temperatures, alarm parameters, and view individual readings for time temperature, and speed from the digital display.

The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 5000 Shaker has a slanted viewing window that allows users to monitor their samples without interrupting a session or disturbing the temperature. This incubator shaker has a wide temperature range of between 15°C below ambient to +60°C with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. This incubator shaker is an ideal choice for lab applications such as cell culture, staining and destaining, plasmid purification, extraction procedures, protein expression, solubility studies, and many others.

Inside this incubator shaker, are access ports for probes, thermocouples, and sensors as well as a drip pan under the platform to contain spills and protect components. This incubated refrigerated shaker also includes an easy access drain system allowing users to clean spills easily, and help keep the instrument in running order.
