Description
Boekel Platelet Incubator
The benchtop platelet agitator combined with the Boekel incubator offers users an all-in-one solution to agitate and store apheresis and pooled platelets. The platelet incubator is found primarily in blood banks but is widely used in many laboratories. It maintains the platelet storage temperature at ±0.3°C between 20°C and 24°C. Perfect for short-term storage of blood platelets.
This platelet agitator uses a thermoelectric control device to maintain platelet storage temperature without the use of a compressor or refrigerant gases, making a quieter system. The user friendly 7” control touch screen on the front of the unit boasts large program shortcuts and incorporates an inventory management system. Users can view event logs and temperature logs straight from the screen.
The incorporated 50mm thermal printer eliminates the need for ink and allows users to print the event and temperature logs straight from the unit. The platelet incubator also incorporates a USB port to export those results in a digital format to be viewed on a computer.
