The Qiagen TissueLyser LT Sample disruptor provides quick and efficient disruption in up to 12 samples. This small bead mill has high throughput with high-speed shaking for the disruption or homogenization of samples in 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes with stainless steel or glass beads. The TissueLyser LT is compact so you can keep it nearby for easy access. This tissue disruptor provides effective disruption of human, animal, and plant tissues, bacteria, and yeast, allowing reproducible yields of DNA, RNA, and protein in subsequent purification procedures, even difficult tissues such as heart and brain tissue. Tubes are mounted inside this sample disruptor with a sample and a bead, and the quick up and down action beat and grind for simultaneous disruption and homogenization.
