VWR Digital Hotplate Stirrer
The VWR Digital Hotplate Laboratory Stirrer brings samples up to temperature quickly and capably and is an ideal choice for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. This stirring hotplate plate is microprocessor controlled with independent windows for temperature, time, and speed. The temperature can be set up to 400°C and the speed up to 1600 RPM set from the upfront touch keypad.
The timer function of this VWR magnetic stirrer with heater will display either elapsed time, or the user’s defined countdown that will power down the unit at zero. This 5-inch hotplate has a round stainless steel top that’s durable and won’t crack, is chemically resistant, and is easy to clean. An audible alarm will sound in timed mode, when time reaches zero or when the unit reaches set-point temperature. The low-profile design of this VWR magnetic stirrer hotplate means it takes up less space on the bench and can slip easily into a fume hood.
