Agilent 3100 Offgel Fractionator
The Agilent 3100 OFFGEL fractionator provides robust, repeatable in-solution fraction recovery that ensures LC/MS assays are optimized for the maximum number of proteins. This advanced fractionator features a user-friendly interface and can connect to a PC or be operated from a smart phone when connected to a LAN. The Agilent 3100 can run two fractionations simultaneously with up to 16 samples (8 samples per tray), even with different concentrations. The OFFGEL uses electrophoresis to separate proteins or peptides according to their isoelectric points, and then collects them in their liquid phase for excellent pI-based fractionation with 0.1 – 0.6 pH resolution. This fractionator operates in 4 modes, constant voltage, constant current, constant power and timetable programable mode, with individual current control for each sample. The Agilent 3100 OFFGEL fractionator has a 50 µg to 5 mg load capacity for analytical applications or maximum enrichment of low abundance proteins.
