The Agilent Cary 100 is a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with robust software control, modular design, and low cost of ownership. This Spectrophotometer features optics that are quartz coated to let users easily clean surfaces without damaging them and protect them from corrosive environments extending the life of the system. The spectral bandwidth of this system can be set as low as 0.2nm thanks to the variable slits, giving users optimal control over the data resolution.  The double beam has a working range past 4.0 Abs, making it ideal for routine research laboratory work, including applications in materials testing, petrochem and chemistry applications, and biotech/pharma studies.

The system has an optical design that ensures superior photometric stability so that any changes seen over the time of a read are sample-related and not from drift. This UV-Vis Spectrophotometer also has a special signal-to-noise reading mode that lets users control the level of precision to meet their needs. By adjusting this setting you can reduce scanning times by 50% in areas of high energy, and increasing signal averaging when the energy throughput is less. This spectrophotometer has a double beam design but provides you with the flexibility to operate in single, double, or dual single beam modes, for greater flexibility. The Agilent Cary 100 UV-VIS Spectrophotometer software is modular in design, letting users tailor their experience and programs to their needs, with advanced data processing, automatic peak labeling, and enhanced file transfers and report capabilities.
