Air Science Laminar Flow Hood
The Air Science Purair Laminar Flow Hood offers verticle flow protection for equipment and other contents within the work zone. This type of cabinet is best for use with non-hazardous contaminants and is built with flexible access and a clean work area in mind. A sterile work zone is maintained with ISO class 4 filtered air and a stainless steel work surface. The working area of this laminar flow hood is 3 ft, flanked by tempered glass side and back windows to allow ambient light in and an unobstructed view of contents within.
This Purair Laminar Flow Hood features sturdy durable epoxy-coated steel construction that’s chemically resistant. The compact LED lighting is situated away from the laminar flow area, and the lamp and fan can be toggled on and off, depending on the need, from the up top control panel. The high-capacity system delivers a flow velocity of 0.45 m/s /90 fpm. Suitable applications for this Purair cabinet include mycology and food microbiology, plant and mammalian cell culture, cleanrooms and general research protocols.

Technical Notes on this Flow Cabinet
Please Note: This listing is for a Laminar Flow Hood that’s been fully tested by our service team with a clean bill of health. The unit has been deconned with a Hydrogen Peroxide method and existing HEPA filters have been checked out to be in good condition. We ran a flow meter on the hood to ensure the blower motor is up to spec and the unit passed QC. If buyers want new HEPA filters, they’re available for an additional cost.
