Air Sciences PURAIR P5-24-XTS Ductless Fume Hood

This Purair ductless fume hood is intended to provide high-performance features at an affordable price. This fume hood can be used in research laboratories, academic labs, forensic, pharmaceutical, and medical laboratories worldwide to keep users and the environment safe from harmful gasses produced on the worktop. The innovative Air Science MultiplexTM Filtration Technology creates a safe and healthy working condition for a variety of lab applications. This ductless fume hood from Air Science has a large capacity supply air system which provides a face velocity of 100 fpm.

In this Purair fume hood, a low airflow alert system warns users of inadequate face velocity. Users can change the filter as needed thanks to the Air Science filter assembly, which makes the filter easily accessible and replaceable. This fume hood’s distinctive filter clamping design eliminates bypass leakage outside of the enclosure. The digital controls include simple switches for the blower and a low airflow alarm. When unacceptable values are detected by the continuous air velocity monitoring system, users are notified. The centrifugal fan motor speed can be manually adjusted by authorized personnel. Labs will find incredible safety value from this ductless chemical fume hood.

Please Note: This listing is for a Air Sciences Ductless Fume Hood that’s been fully tested by our service team with a clean bill of health.  The unit has been deconned with a Hydrogen Peroxide method and existing filters have been checked out to be in good condition.  We ran a flow meter on the hood to ensure the blower motor is up to spec.   If buyers want new HEPA filters, they’re available for an additional cost.  There are over 10 types of filters to choose from for this model.  If your hood validation service provider requires new filters in order to pass their validation, it’s the buyer’s responsibility to purchase them.
