Airclean 4000 Workstation – Ductless Fume Hood
The Airclean 4000 Workstation – Air Science Ductless Fume Hood provides users with a safe area of containment while working toxic gases such as methanol, xylene and acetone, residual cyanoacrylate, and carbon-based powders during forensic identification applications. This Airclean fume hood features HEPA filtration and uses specialty stackable bonded carbon filters (sold separately) to trap chemical fumes while the horizontal baffle promotes airflow throughout the hood. This Airclean enclosure is ductless and features a large capacity filtration bed to cover a wide range of uses, and an easy-to-clean surface to avoid critical cross-contamination. The Airsafe controller monitors and displays the inflow velocity, while also showing the filter load capacity, indicating when a change is required. To compensate for a detected raised sash the blower automatically increases the velocity to maintain safe levels. Please Note: This listing is for a ductless fume hood that’s been fully tested by our service team with a clean bill of health. The unit has been deconned with a Hydrogen Peroxide method and the existing supply HEPA filter has been checked out to be in good condition. We ran a flow meter on the hood to ensure the blower motor is up to spec and the unit passed QC. If buyers want new HEPA filters, they’re available for an additional cost. If your hood validation service provider requires new filters in order to pass their certification, it’s the buyer’s responsibility to purchase them.
