The AMETEK Chatillion Tensile Tester is a single-column tensile strength testing machine for a material’s tensile strength and elasticity. This tensile testing machine has a speed range of between 0.01 to 1270mm/min (0.001-50in/min) and the frame can accommodate a maximum load of 1000 N (225lbf). This easy-to-use tensile strength tester features a dedicated, sleek, touch screen tablet control with a PC operating system, with digital control for rapid data acquisition and load measurements. Test data can be downloaded through the USB port of the tensile testing equipment or stored on the integrated memory card.

The durable stiff frame construction and high-strength materials of this tensile testing equipment create better performance and minimize the energy stored during the test. The tensile strength tester also incorporates a crosshead guide system that prevents the side loading of a sample. This cross head is driven by a leadscrew, motos, and a pulse width modulation fan.
