Baker EdgeGard EG6252 Laminar Flow Hood

The Baker EdgeGARD Laminar Flow Hood gives users a horizontal flow IOS class 5 clean bench work area with its filtered air. The 6-foot HEPA-filtered airflow is virtually particulate-free, making it ideal for a variety of applications such as medical research, IV admixture preparation, drug compounding, plant cell culture, electronics manufacturing, and more. Clean benches keep the samples from being contaminated with room air; however, they do not provide protection for the user.

This laminar flow hood is generous in size and has a brightly lit work area that incorporates high-velocity return air slots and precise control of airflow volumes. Inside the work area is a duplex outlet for instrumentation and an external power source below the work area for additional equipment. The large HEPA filter screen can be removed for easy cleaning while minimizing turbulence. The Baker EdgeGARD blower motor makes sure the air volume is steady and automatically compensates for voltage fluctuations. This Horizontal Clean Bench has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel interior and a powder-coated steel exterior. Controls are simple, with a large easy to read Magnehelic gauge confirming cabinet operation.
