The Binder BOD Incubator KB ECO 400 provides ample room and sturdy shelving for your BOD incubation needs across a broad temperature range. Flexible and precise control, as well as short recovery times, ensure the best possible incubation conditions. After a door’s opening, the fan-circulated air helps recover temperatures in as little as 6 minutes, back to 37°C.

This Binder Incubator heats and cools across a temperature range of 0 to 70°C (max. 28°C below the ambient temperature). The temperature is set using the user-friendly upfront digital control panel with a bright display. This Heating and Cooling Incubator employs a direct compressor refrigeration system and an APT line preheating chamber system, allowing precise temperature control with nearly endless programmability.

Unlike air jacket systems, these evaporation plates conduct directly into the atmosphere of the working area.  This 14.3 cu ft lab incubator’s APT line preheating chamber system uses direct and distributed air circulation to maintain temperature, especially with a full load. The KB Eco series is energy-efficient thanks to the thermoelectric cooling technology and heat dissipation, which also means quiet operation.

The Binder BOD Incubator KB ECO 400’s inner tempered glass door keeps temperatures consistent while users observe the incubation process. The inner chamber, preheating chamber, and inside of the outer door are constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, while the housing is powder coated, including edges and corners. All functions are easy and comfortable to use and designed for easy access.
