Bio-Rad PowerPac Basic Electrophoresis Power Supply
The Bio-Rad PowerPac BASIC power supply is ideal for simple western blotting and electrophoresis. This power supply has an easy-to-read two-line, 16-character display that allows users to program and perform at-a-glance monitoring on one screen. This microprocessor-controlled Power Pac gives users intuitive multi-step method programming and timed runs with a choice of constant voltage or constant current with automatic crossover.
The Powerpac Basic also features a timer function that’s fully adjustable for up to 99 hours and 59 minutes. This electrophoresis power supply has an output range of 10-300 volts, completely adjustable in 1-volt steps. Safety features include no-load detection, sudden load change detection, overload or short circuit detection, and overvoltage detection.
The Biorad Mini-PROTEAN Tetra cell accommodates one to four Mini-PROTEAN precast or hand-cast gels. This mini tetra cell provides flexibility and is ideal for vertical mini gel electrophoresis use. The Mini-PROTEAN Tetra cell can run 1-4 gels in less than an hour and 2-D gels in less than a day. The Thermoplastic casting gaskets form a tight seal with the glass plates to ensure leak-free casting with a patented sealing mechanism that prevents assembly errors during hand-casting.
