Biorad Thermal Cycler Tetrad 2

The Biorad Tetrad 2 PCR Machine is powerful, flexible, high throughput, and an updated version of the backbone of the Human Genome Project. This thermocycler accommodates a variety of tubes, slides, and microplates thanks to its interchangeable Alpha blocks. Users can use the intuitive graphic interface to navigate through onboard software, store up to 1000 programs, select their temperature up to 105°C, and gradient range between 1-24 degrees. This DNA Engine is a four-bay system with 96 well blocks, that allows you to run up to 8 independent protocols at once.

The Biorad Tetrad 2 is flexible, giving users the choice of block temperature control for compatibility with a variety of instrument types and protocols, or calculate temperature control for high speed and accuracy. Multizone Thermal Control enables superior well-to-well uniformity and highly reproducible temperatures using software to control the cyclers in the DNA engine. Run times of The Biorad Tetrad 2 Thermal Cycler can be a short as 35 minutes, letting you perform fast PCR without sacrificing gradient capability, flexibility or modularity. SYBR Green real-time PCR quantitation data can be gathered in under 40 minutes.
