The Biotek FLx800 is a reliable fluorescence microplate reader with low noise detection and increased sensitivity in luminescence and fluorescence modes.  The Biotek FLx800T fluorescence microplate reader is ideal for DNA quantification, FRET, Gene Expression, Protein Quantification, Kinetic Analysis, Cell-Based Studies, and more.  Fluorescence Intensity gives you a typical sensitivity of FLuorescein 5 pM with a wavelength range of 300-700nm for both Fluor and Lum. Typical luminescence sensitivity is at 100 amol ATP and has a 5-decade dynamic range. This single-channel instrument features stationary optics and a PMT in a light-tight compartment.

The microplate reader system features robust onboard software that clarifies the data of users who can choose to operate through Gen5 control software. Gen5 allows you to graph, manipulate, and track data and easily export information for reports.  This plate reader will also store up to 75 assays while allowing users to define excitation and emission filters, probe selection, plate geometry, samples per well, delay before samples, sensitivity, and plate mapping.

The FLX800TB model is automated to read the top and bottom probes.
