Biotek Synergy HT Microplate Reader

The Biotek Synergy HT Microplate Reader is a multi-detection Microplate Reader with single-channel absorbance, luminescence, and fluorescence reading in a compact, easy-to-use system. This microplate reader is computer-controlled with powerful Gen 5 software to help control and analyze collected data quickly and efficiently. When used with adapter plates, the Synergy HT works with all standard plates ranging in size from 6 to 384 wells and PCR tubes up to 1.25″ in height.

This multimode microplate reader has a dual optic design that includes separate fluorescence and absorbance channels, with 3 mm top and 5 mm bottom fluorescence probes. The Synergy HT uses filters, a photon multiplier tube, and a long-lasting tungsten halogen lamp to provide the most constant light and high levels of repeatable sensitivity.

The Biotek Synergy HT Microplate Reader can be customized using different filters and bandpasses, with filters specifically designed to prevent light leakage from excitation to emission wavelengths. The absorbance wavelength range is between 200-999 nm, adjustable in 1 nm increments. This plate reader features a low-noise PMT with a digital photon mode for optimal detection in luminescence mode 300-650nm in excitation and 300-700 nm in emission.

In absorbance mode, the Synergy HT Microplate Reader switches to a different Xenon Flash Lamp, which detects UV and visible light. This plate reader also has a temperature control system for uniform kinetic assays. For the best optimization and automation, this system is BioStack-ready and compatible with a wide range of automated systems.
