The Erlab Captair Flex M321 gives you an easy to operate, flexible to position fume hood, that’s ductless and energy-efficient. This 30-inch wide ductless fume hood has an integrated Airflow meter that permanently controls the air face velocity to keep it between 0.4 and 0.6 m/s. The Flow monitor warns the user through a visual and audible alarm in case of fan failure. The energy efficiency of this BSC means it can be plugged into a normal outlet and since it doesn’t require ductwork you can place it in the lab where you need it. This ductless fume hood is a taller construction than its cousin the Captair Flex S321 allowing extra room for taller lab instruments and tools. This fume hood is outfitted with a BE-type GF4 carbon filter designed for organic vapors and acids when working with liquids and solids involved in dissolutions, filtration, and extractions. The Captair Flex has an adjustable timer that records the number of hours in operation and notifies users when it’s time to test the saturation for added security. The viewing panels of this biosafety cabinet is built from thick clear acrylic and is set at an ergonomically designed slant for comfortable viewing. The Captair Laminar Flow Hood comes with a phenolic resin work surface for high chemical and moisture resistance, partnered with a flexible modular filtration for a wide range of applications. This Laminar Flow Hood works great as a PCR Enclosure. Filters are easily replaced, and the controls are easy to use.
