Clare Darkreader Transilluminator
The Clare Darkreader Transilluminator is a blue LED illumination with no damaging UV, using pure blue LED light. It can be used to observe various fluorescent samples, including SYBR Green, GelStar, GelGreen, SYPRO Ruby, ProQ Diamond, fluorescein, and various GFPs. The Viewing area is 25 x 22 cm/ 9.84 x 8.66142” for a generous surface area and is powered by multiple high-intensity Blue LEDs. Using a blue light transilluminator allows for the direct viewing of DNA fragments as they migrate. Monitoring the progress of DNA fractionation continuously can cut the time to 15 to 20 minutes.
