The 96 well plate sealer is used to evenly apply storage mats. It features a comfortable, sturdy handle to easily grasp and apply pressure. This pcr plate sealing tool is used with Corning 96-well polystyrene or polypropylene plates and blocks. Its operation and instructions are user friendly. While the lever is in the upright position, place the 96-well plate on the aluminum adapter. Gently hand press the mat plugs into place to hold the mat’s orientation. After pull the lever and push down to apply constant pressure on the microplate sealer. If the mat applicator does not seal it correctly,  a pressure setting knob is used to fine tune the pressure. Once you have the correct setting for the job, multiple identical blocks can be sealed quickly and easily.
