Drummond Pipet-Aid Hood Mate Model 300 is a wall mounted pipette aid that never “walks away”. Compact and convenient, a dedicated tube connects to an air pump, eliminating the need to recharge batteries and interrupt workflow. Designed to be installed in a hood, the body is UV resistant, lightweight, comfortable in the hand, and within arm’s reach when required.

The Drummond pipet-aid delivers precise liquid volumes with is easy to use controls. The speed is chosen by rotating the button on its axis until a slight click vibration is felt.  The “F” stands for fast, “M” for medium and “S” for slow. The flow rate is proportional to the amount of pressure applied to the button. A small amount of pressure results in slow flow rate and a large amount for faster flow rate.

The pipette aid incorporates a safety feature called the Tissue Culture Nosepiece filter. This is a filter which will halt the operation if liquid soaks the filter. The Drummond pipet aid could be possibly damaged if the filter is not installed and should promptly be replaced as soon as it happens. A sleep mode engages after 3 minutes of inactivity, but the Drummond pipette is ready to go the second a user asks it to.
