Edwards Dry Scroll Pump XDS46i
This Edwards XDS46i Scroll Vacuum Pump uses fixed scroll and orbiting scroll to create a successive crescent-shaped volume within the pump. Gas that enters the pump is compressed by the orbiting scroll and is swept to the fixed scroll. The oil-free design, with the bearings, hermetically sealed, isolates the vacuum space from the hydrocarbon lubricant.
This Edwards XDS46i is optimized for maximum pumping speed at inlet pressures between 1 mbar and 10 mbar with a peak pumping speed of 40 m3/hour. The XDS46i is ideal for applications in LCMS and ICPMS, as well as high energy physics, chemical applications like solvent recovery and gel dryers, and backing turbomolecular pumps.
