Description
Endosafe PTS Portable Test System
The Charles River Endosafe PTS (Portable Test System) is a rapid and convenient handheld spectrophotometer. Working with disposable cartridges, the test system performs a kinetic chromogenic assay to determine a sample’s endotoxin concentration. The reader draws samples into channels to be mixed with appropriate reagents. The cartridge also contains a control sample to check against. Results are provided in approximately 15 minutes.
This handheld spectrophotometer’s battery life is roughly 6-8 hours per full charge. After about 10 minutes of warm-up time, it is up and running. Results can be exported quickly through the RS232 interface, or up to 100 results can be stored on the tester itself.
