This microcentrifuge has several ergonomic features, such as one-finger lid closure, automated lid openings signaling a run has completed and reducing warming, and an easy-to-clean keypad. The low access height and lid with soft-touch closure for ergonomic operation make loading and unloading samples into this centrifuge quick and painless.

This Eppendorf 5420 has an FA-45-24-11 Fixed Angle Rotor with an aerosol-tight lid. Acceleration and deceleration are achieved in as little as 15 seconds, with 10 soft brake ramp functions to choose from. Programming the Eppendorf centrifuge is simple, and there’s a one-push quick key for short spin-down needs. Additionally, there is a timer feature from 10 seconds up to 9:59 hours, and there is an option for continuous run.
