The Eppendorf 5702 Centrifuge offers users a low-speed, easy-to-operate instrument built to meet the low to mid-throughput needs of a research lab. This compact model fits most lab benches and is quite operating so as not to be a distraction. The lid has a low access height for comfortable loading and unloading and is compatible with 6 rotors, available from Eppendorf. These rotors also have a wide variety of adapters making this system a flexible option for your lab.

The speed range of up to 4400 RPM, set in 100 RPM increments and is controlled through the knob dial and digital screen microprocessor command center. From here users of the Eppendorf 5702 Centrifuge can select their desired speed, or go by RCF up to 3000 x g, as well as their desired time or set to continuous. The timer begins once the designated speed is reached, for reproducible runs. The quick acceleration and deceleration are just under 19 seconds but also feature a soft break function for both for optimized cell separation by a gradient.

The corrosion-resistant stainless-steel rotor chamber is easy to clean and features automatic imbalance detection for safe operation. To help minimize sample warming while in operation, the interior uses optimized airflow, circulating air around the chamber. The energy-conscious Eppendorf 5702 centrifuge also has an Eco Shut-off function that will power down the unit after 8 hours of non-use.
