ESCO Labculture Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet

The ESCO Biosafety Cabinet is a Class II Type A2 with high energy efficiency, safety, and ergonomic construction. This ESCO BSC has many built-in features, such as an isocide powder coat that’s silver ion impregnated to inhibit microbial growth and ultra-low penetration air (ULPA) filtration or HEPA filtration. The large wall radius and single-piece work tray make clean-up a snap and feature a recessed spill tray and angled drain pan to contain any spillage that may occur. The side-mounted electrical outlets and service fixtures are out of the way while still being easily accessible when needed. The ergonomic armrest lets users work comfortably for extended periods while it prevents blocking the grille.

The energy-efficient DC ECM motor provides an energy savings of 70% compared to an AC motor. This has the added benefit of a more stable airflow even with building voltage fluctuations and filter load. This motor also has a night setback mode to conserve power when not in use, reducing power consumption by 60%. The dynamic chamber blower employs a plenum and sidewall to surround the area with a negative pressure that prevents contaminants from escaping outside.

The ESCO Biosafety Cabinet Labculture Class II Type A2 features a microprocessor-controlled command center that displays all safety information in one location. The digital screen is easy to read and provides constant real-time feedback on airflow, sash position, and flow rates. Airflow velocity, inflow is 105 fpm, and downflow is 70 fpm.

The ESCO Airstream Model features a Touch Screen Control center that shows the status of the cabinet while in operation, including UV lamp life and disinfection status, and controls the dimmable LED lighting.

The ESCO Airstream Reliant has a user-friendly manual interface with toggle switches and a pressure gauge.
