Esco Laminar Flow Cabinet

The ESCO Laminar Flow Cabinet provides users with a clean bench and filtered horizontal laminar flow for an ISO class 3 work zone. The interior is a nominal 6’ of workspace, with a stainless, spill retaining work surface and a low operating noise level. Inside users will find electrical outlets to power equipment and bright illumination for the entire work area.

Air passes through the disposable prefilter and then through HEPA filtration, and then into the main chamber in a unidirectional horizontal flow through the front of the cabinet. This Horizontal flow is slightly less turbulent than a vertical flow as the flow does not strike the surface. The exterior is a powder coat with a special antimicrobial isocide coating, that inhibits bacterial growth for added protection.

Airflow and filter conditions in this ESCO laminar flow cabinet are monitored through the digital control panel with touchpad control. This panel provides feedback on velocity, measures critical parameters, and has built-in speed control with audible and visual alarms in the event of low flow.

The blower on the Esco Laminar Flow Clean Bench is permanently lubricated, and direct drive centrifugal, for energy-efficient operation with low vibration and noise. This system is also intelligent, compensating as a filter becomes loaded, for the best in efficiency and product protection.  This cabinet is ideal for applications where there is no generation of biohazards, such as mycology, food microbiology, clinical pharmacy, and hospital protocols, cleanrooms and semiconductor assembly and more.
