Fisher UV Crosslinker
The Fisher UV Crosslinker offers your lab-controlled UV radiation in a compact benchtop format with adjustable height. This ultraviolet crosslinker is ideal for DNA or RNA to membranes, and preparation for southern, northern, dot, and slot blots. Inside this crosslinker are 5 shortwave 254nm bulbs, but users may swap for 306nm and 368nm bulbs as needed, then switch in the controls. The height of the bulbs in this ultraviolet crosslinker can be adjusted based on the size of the sample, and thanks to the microprocessor control, the exact energy is detected and adjusted accordingly.
The Fisher UV Crosslinker helps to increase hybridization signals significantly higher than when the oven baking is used. The large UV protective window keeps users safe while allowing them processor inspection. Opening the door automatically shuts off the process in this ultraviolet crosslinker as an added safety measure. There are two modes of operation, energy or time both of which users define the parameters.
