The FlackTek DAC 600 is a programmable speed mixer that provides a medium-capacity method of rapid mixing and grinding materials that might otherwise take a large amount of time. This speed mixer mixing arm spins in one direction, at high speeds while the basket spins in the opposite direction creating a dual asymmetric centrifugal effect. By combining these forces users get a rapid process of non-invasive mixing, ideal for powders, pastes, putties, and liquids.

The FlackTek DAC 600 Programmable SpeedMixer has a variable speed range between 800-2000 RPM and can be set to mix for 5 seconds all the way up to 10 minutes. The 600 FVZ has a capacity of 600g, and uses disposable jars and lids to eliminate cross-contamination and allow for easy storage of materials once mixing is complete. Setting up the system is done through the touch screen, where users can select their time and speed, as well as hold 20 programs for frequently used protocols.
