The Heracell VIOS 160i CO2 incubator is user-friendly and straightforward to maintain. The interior features coved corners that are easy to clean and clad in either polished stainless steel or naturally anti-microbial copper. This  165L CO2 incubator has an integrated humidity chamber at the base that can be filled quickly without needing tools.  The Heracell Vios 160i has a cover to protect accidental particles and spilled media from settling within. Gases are also pre-humidified before entering the chamber to help maintain uniformity. The THRIVE active airflow growth conditions are kept homogenous and stable to avoid sample variations, while the ISO Class 5 HEPA air filter system minimizes contamination.

The Heracell Vios 160i Co2 Incubator has a user-friendly iCAN touchscreen interface. This brightly lit control panel is set on the door for easy access, with multiple language options, onscreen menu prompts, error and usage logs, data logging, and performance trend graphing. The Vios 160i has a compact footprint and can be stacked to maximize the uses of lab space. To help with maintenance, an on-demand, high-temperature sterilization cycle can be engaged, running at 180°C overnight, eliminating the need for autoclaving and reassembling components.
