The Heracell Vios 250i CO2 Incubator from Thermo Scientific provides labs with a stackable, high-capacity instrument that’s easy to maintain and sterilize. The 255-liter chamber is lined with copper, with coved corners for easy cleanup, and uses the overnight steri-run routine, heating to 180°C on all surfaces for total sterilization. Using heat sterilization instead of UV eliminates physical constraints and the need to handle and store toxic germicides. The ISO Class 5 HEPA filtration cycles the entire chamber air volume every 60 seconds for continuous protection from airborne contaminants.

The Heracell Vios 250i uses the Thrive airflow system, which gently distributes heated, humidified air throughout the chamber, giving you homogeneous conditions throughout. It also means fast recovery after an opening. While the door is open, it automatically cuts out to minimize air exchanges. CO2 levels are monitored with a TC sensor, and humidity is added with a covered, stay-clean, heated water reservoir for stable rH conditions. This reservoir means 5 times faster humidity recovery than a traditional water pan, so your samples are protected from desiccation.

Users can program the Heracell Vios 250i from the intuitive iCAN touchscreen controller with a bright LED screen for easy viewing. This display shows changes in the culture environment, reports performance trends gaping, and error and usage logs so you can stay on top of your work. Navigation is simple and guided, letting you set your desired temperature, alarms, CO2 parameters, and even your choice of language. The Vios Series incubators are also compatible with Thermos Device Link HUB for wireless monitoring.
