IKA RET Basic Analog Hotplate Stirrer

The IKA Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrer and heats your samples simultaneously or separately depending on your needs. This laboratory stirrer lets users select their speeds, between 50 and 1500 rpm, and their temperature, up to 340°, through separate dial controls. A stir bar or flea is inserted into the liquid, and with the use of a magnetic field begins to swirl, and thereby stir the liquid independently. Magnetic stirrers tend to be quieter than gear-driven motorized stirrers with no external moving parts. The IKA Hot Plate uses an acid-resistant ceramic hotplate to enable uniform heating and high contract against samples.
