Invitrogen DynaMag 2 Magnet provides users efficient magnetic separation in small sample volumes. This magnetic separator works with all types of Dynabeads ranging from 1 to 4.5 µm in diameter, combining strong magnets with a compact design. The Dynamag works with 10-2000 uL volumes and holds up to 16 standard microcentrifuge tubes. The numbered spaces are positioned in 2 rows of eight for an easy scale to 06 well plate reactions and allow you to keep track of your samples. The sample rack of the Thermo 12321d easily separates from the base magnet for storing tubes, resuspension, rotation, and vortexing applications.

The DynaMag-96 Side Skirted magnet is intended to pull all types of Dynabeads to the sides in multi-well plates. Six bar magnets line the top and work with most 96-well skirted PCR plates, culture plates, 96-well round bottom plates, 96-well flat bottom plates, 24-well plates, 12-well plates, and 6-well plates. The working volume per well is 5–200 μl. Note that plates may vary, and you should test your plate for compatibility. It’s not recommended for use with 48-well plates.

The DynaMag-96 Side Magnet is intended to pull all types of Dynabeads to the sides in PCR strips and 96-well plates. This magnet has an extra column that enables sample mixing simply by shifting the 96-well plate back and forth from the right-most position to the left-most position. This shifting draws the beads back and forth through the sample and allows mixing without handling, promoting faster processing and less sample handling.

The DynaMag-96 Bottom Magnet pulls beads to the bottom of a PCR plate. This magnet plate is compatible with PCR strips and 96-well plates, 200ul in size, either non-skirted or half-skirted.

The DynaMag 5 is compatible with 5mL tubes with an optimal working volume between 1-5mL

The DynaMag 15 is compatible with 15mL tubes with an optimal working volume between 4-15mL.
