Lab Armor Bead Bath
The Lab Armor Thermal Bead Bath provides efficient heating, precise control, and the best versatility. This bead bath uses dry thermal beads that conform to any shape vessel to hold samples in place, vessels from a capped petri dish to a flask or a test tube, or even a microplate. The temperature range can be set between 5° above ambient to 80°C, with uniformity of ±1.0°C at 37°C.
A bead bath is 50% more efficient than water baths and less likely to need germicidal decontamination. Lab beads heat more uniformly than water. Armor Beads used to heat samples are dry, which creates an environment unfriendly to microbes. Not needing to empty and clean the baths or wait a long time for heat also reduces prepping time and increases productivity. This Bead Bath is an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional water bath. All of our lab equipment comes backed by our standard warranty.
