Labconco Xpert Filtered Balance System

The Labconco XPert Filtered Balance Enclosures are reliable, cost-effective protection for personnel safety from powders and particulates during weighing operations. With a built-in HEPA filter, the XPert Balance Flow Hood enclosures provide maximum containment of potent and/or toxic airborne particulates and exhaust clean air back into the room. This means they have a low installation cost and require no outside ductwork. This flow hood has an upper dilution air supply that sweeps clean air to the back of the sash to keep contaminants away from the operator.

The Labconco XPert Filtered Balance System is partnered with the HEPA exhaust that is 99.99% effective on particles 0.3 microns in size is a true bag-in/bag-out filter disposal system and a built-in blower with a dynamically balanced and motorized impeller that’s vibration-isolated. ¼” thick tempered glass front sash and sides, with an ergonomic 10° angled and hinged sash that pivots upward using a wiping seal to contain contaminants. This balance enclosure has an upper containment sash foil that directs contaminants away from the user’s breathing zone.

These enclosures accommodate micro or large analytical balances in pharmaceutical, compounding, and biotechnology laboratories. The Labconco XPert Filtered Balance Flow Hood features include a deep interior, zone perforated rear baffle, static dissipating construction with dry powder epoxy-coated aluminum frame, and patented clean sweep airfoil for maximum containment.
