The -20 Chest Freezer offers users a low-profile, cold-retaining everyday lab freezer. This drop-in freezer has a mechanical thermostat and manual defrost, making it ideal for situations where precise control isn’t critical but avoiding temperature spikes for security is. The laboratory chest freezer has a volume of 15 cu ft and features a lockable lid and a probe access port for monitoring and alarms. The temperature range can be set from the dial thermostat and covers between -15 and -25°C. The benefit of a drop-in freezer is cold air doesn’t spill out as with an upright freezer when you open the door, allowing for more stable conditions.
