EVOS FL Auto Imaging System

The EVOS FL Auto Imaging System provides a fully automated imaging solution inverted multi-channel fluorescent and transmitted light with digital precision. This imaging system has intuitive controls, a motorized scanning stage that moves in X/Y, autofocuses, and a flat focus Z-stack to give you exceptional quality images quickly and easily. The EVOS is an ideal choice for applications in cell counting with thresholding, 8point time-lapse studies, high-resolution mosaic image stitching, and multi-position well-scanning thanks to the advanced software built to create, save and run routines, and edit and manipulate images. The EVOS FL can be controlled from the large 22-inch LCD touchscreen, with user-friendly gesture-based control, as well as step-by-step guides for setting up protocols or the ability to define parameters manually.

The Life Technologies EVOS FL Auto Imaging System has a 5-position objective turret and works with 4-color fluorescence. Users can set up to 4 fluorescence light cube positions compatible with over a dozen LED light cubes, sold separately, letting you customize this imaging system to meet your needs. By using an LED lighting system, you get superior intensity in a short path with great control and avoid warm-up and cooldown periods for a quick and efficient workflow. You also save on operating costs and consume fewer resources with an environmentally safe, long-lasting LEB bulb rated for over 50,000 hours, compared to 300 in a mercury bulb. The EVOS FL also automatically adjusts the light to match the objective and uses dual cameras, switching effortlessly between colorimetric and fluorescence to ensure perfect pictures every time. The flexibility of this automated cell imaging system extends to interchangeable stage plates and vessel holder accessories that will work with most vessel types, such as multiwell plates, slides, culture flasks, and Petri dishes. Images from this cell imaging system can be output in BMP, JPG, PNG, all 8-bit depth, or TIFF in either 8-bit (default) or 16-bit and exported through multiple USB ports to a thumb drive or laptop.
