Lippke Leak Test System 2500 SL

The Lippke Leak Test System 2500 SL is a reliable tool for measuring both pressure loss and burst pressure of flexible, semi-rigid, and rigid packages. This leak test in a vacuum system can conduct seal strength tests on flexible and semi-rigid packages. Test results are shown to the user as graphs, measurement databases, and statistics. This package seal test system is ideal for QC and QA, raw material qualification, and the determination of optimum seal parameters.

The Lippke 2500 SL test system offers defined and reproducible test conditions and can maintain a test parameter database for an unlimited number of products. Tests are simple to run, a self-adhesive septum is used to ensure a perfect seal and after mounting the package onto the needle-head assembly, the pressure builds up in the package. After the pre-selected pressure is reached, the timer begins and the unit will then measure the pressure down to the smallest leakage amount, (down to 10 microns) and display the result. Burst tests for this Lippke 2500 SL Test System use the needle and steadily increases pressure until the package bursts, and is reported in proportion to seal strength.
