Molecular Devices SpectraMax ABS Plus Microplate Reader
The Molecular Devices SpectraMax ABS Plus Microplate Reader brings you fast, affordable and precise readings with a full spectral range across a variety of formats. The optical system of this SpectraMax is built around a monochromator and can read bost cuvette-based and plate base applications in one tool. The ABS Plus has a UV-visible wavelength range of 190 nm – 1000 nm and allows users to select up to 6 wavelengths per read. This UV Vis microplate reader operates as both a standard spectrophotometer and a microplate reader.
The patented multi-channel optical design of this SpectraMax plate reader measures each sample in the plate directly and records the depth of the sample. This information is then taken into account and the software normalizes to a cuvette equivalent of 1cm., so pipetting doesn’t need to be accurate, speeding up your workflow. This system also allows you to test your multi-channel dispensers and pipettes in minutes, by recording and reporting the depth. The Spectramax ABS Plus can also be integrated with the Molecular Devices StakMax plate stacker and other leading partner robots, quickly and easily.
