The Nikon Eclipse E400 biological microscope offers you great stability, and a compact design in a comfortable to use the instrument. This compound microscope covers your basic microscopy needs and is even suitable for photomicrography applications, thanks to its vibration-resistant construction. The head and eye position help maintain comfortable to use over long periods of time with a lower eyepiece angle, that can be varied to suit the user.

The Nikon Eclipse E400 biological microscope has controls specially positioned to allow for one-handed operation, with a low-profile stage for easy specimen manipulation. The nose piece of this lab microscope has quintuple objective positioning that revolves smoothly, and thanks to Nikon’s innovative CFI60 optical system, images are crisp and clear. Included in the system is a series of universal objectives that enable the use of various observation techniques, such as brightfield, darkfield, Nomarski DIC, epi-fluorescence, or phase contrast, without the necessity of changing objectives. A variety of intermediate tubes and accessories can be added between the objective and convergent tube lens without disturbing the image thanks to the infinity-corrected optics.
